Kristie DiSalvo, Account Manager

Kristie DiSalvo is an Account Executive with expertise in media relations, writing, event management and relationship marketing. Ms. DiSalvo joined Denterlein Worldwide after working as a beat and freelance reporter for more than six years. During that time she covered local and state government in communities across New England and in Virginia.

The winner of six awards from the Virginia Press Association for her breaking news and investigative reporting, Ms. DiSalvo offers clients a crisp writing style that is particularly attuned to the needs of reporters and columnists. In Boston, she worked as the commercial real estate reporter for the Banker & Tradesman, developing expertise and contacts throughout the real estate and general business communities. Her portfolio includes articles about state legislation implications on the development community, a series on Massachusetts’ school building capital funding problems, and breaking news of the top property sales and leases.

Ms. DiSalvo also served as a former District Council Coordinator of the Urban Land Institute’s Boston office. Charged with managing all aspects of operations, including marketing, communications and dozens of events, she also managed the district’s community outreach initiatives, including the UrbanPlan program, which teaches students about development challenges, and Technical Assistance Panels, a day-long free consultation to cities and towns struggling with development roadblocks.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Ms. DiSalvo holds a BA in Journalism and Political Science. She is a member of Boston Women Communicators and the Publicity Club of New England.
