With more than 10 years of experience in public relations, Diana Pisciotta has navigated dozens of corporate crises, managed several of the firm's most successful rollouts of new residential real estate projects, which resulted in record-breaking sales, and devised comprehensive communications plans that captured the sought-after attention of local and national media.
Ms. Pisciotta looks beyond simple media relations campaigns to establish comprehensive communications strategies that deliver results. A creative and proactive thinker on matters such as corporate positioning, issues management, and advancing business objectives, Ms. Pisciotta leads successful campaigns for a wide range of clients from healthcare to real estate to human services and banking.
She recently led a successful public relations campaign that connected Massachusetts' skyrocketing home prices with a complex web of local regulations. Her efforts led to coverage in the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald and the Boston Business Journal, among others.
An expert in crisis management, she leads crisis communications and media training workshops regularly and has successfully guided a number of prominent New England companies through challenging situations. In addition to creating the message, preparing the client for the most difficult questions and developing the overall approach to the media, she encourages clients to look for non-media communications vehicles to communicate directly with target audiences.
Prior to joining Denterlein Worldwide, Diana served as Communications Manager for Mass Insight/Mass Insight Education, where she focused on Massachusetts education reform and issues of economic competitiveness. In her work on education reform, she developed and implemented the communications strategy for a statewide campaign to support the MCAS, acted as the public spokesperson, coordinated campaign partners, organized policy briefings and wrote all background materials. In addition, she led the media and outreach elements of Mass Insight's competitive issues campaigns, which included topics such as health care, privacy and technology, and the connection between higher education and business in Massachusetts.
Diana also served as Account Director at the public affairs consulting firm McDermott/O'Neill. In particular, she managed strategic public policy campaigns for the firm's most high profile clients, including BankBoston, Harvard Pilgrim, and the McLean Hospital, as well as a number of crisis communications clients. She also worked on comprehensive communications campaigns for a number of corporate clients.
A graduate of Boston College, Ms. Pisciotta has also worked as a marketing assistant at a Boston-based law firm where she conducted business development research, developed collateral materials and assisted in planning business seminars. She is an avid supporter of Rosie's Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women.
