Lisa Pollack, Senior Account Executive

Building on more than six years in Mayor Thomas M. Menino's administration, Lisa Pollack specializes in crisis communications, writing and public affairs.

As a Senior Account Executive for Denterlein Worldwide, Ms. Pollack leads a public campaign around House Bill 2408, legislation that would prevent telecommunications companies from writing off millions of dollars of property taxes each year. She coordinates all outreach to the media and campaign partners, prepares briefings for legislators, municipal leaders, opinion leaders and the press, designs and implements media strategy, and responds to a changing legislative landscape.

As the Senior Media Liaison for Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Ms. Pollack played a key role in shaping and delivering the Menino administration's message through the Democratic National Convention, several election cycles, and the crisis of September 11, 2001.

During her tenure in City Hall, Ms. Pollack specialized in Intergovernmental Affairs, leading press relations from the municipal to federal level. She executed media strategies around the establishment of the Mayor's Office of Homeland Security, as well as several of Boston's most notorious legal wins — including the eleventh-hour order that forced the BPPA into expedited contract arbitration immediately before the DNC. Ms. Pollack also secured national coverage of Menino's initiatives to protect the economic stability of American working families during his tenure as President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Ms. Pollack is also an accomplished photographer. Her work has been published by the Associated Press, the Boston Globe, the Boston Phoenix, Bass Player Magazine, and numerous Boston-area weekly publications.

Ms. Pollack holds a BA from Brandeis University and professional accreditation with honors from the New England School of Photography.
